Ngan Hoa IELTS Starter Course Reflection

Hanoi,14/5/2017

Hi there! Welcome to my new blogspot. Before getting to the point, I would like to tell you something quite fun (or at least I think so). Well, I love writing and used to have a strong desire for owning my own blog so that I could write at anytime about whatever in this life I am interested in :)) Unfortunately, I was too lazy and too dumb about technology to create one. Time flied and I just lost determination to do that stuff bit by bit. Life is always full of surprises, however, and full of sweetness I guess, just right at the moment when I was on the verge of giving up was I required to make a blog by my English teacher. And of course this time I MUST do it, with no excuses. At first I was quite reluctant but after creating my own account and sitting here typing those words right now, I truely feel somehow very happy and kind of released. Plus, really, making blog is not diffcicult as I thought at all. That's why I feel so thankful to my English teacher (yeah certainly it's you Mrs Ngan Hoa) for giving me a chance to break the barrier in my mind though you had no idea about it, and I get myself a new meaningful lesson: Never just think then put the idea forever in the mind only, let's turn it into actions without posponing and you will not be disappointed.

Okay now let's come back with the course reflection and get started. I knew Ngan Hoa English very by chance. Getting to university not long and still keeping a thought that I had so much time ahead to train English, I actually hadn't put as much effort as other members had done into searching for a realiable English course. Suddenly one day, my friend-Ha asked me and Sam to form a group to study IELTS and recommended Mrs Ngan Hoa's class, though being quite surpried at that time, I started thinking about it. The cost was very cheap in fact, the location was not far from my house, the quality of the course was assured by Ha, and if I agree I would be able to be in class together with 3 dear friends of mine! As you can see everything was suitable for me, so there was no reason for me to put off enrolling this IELTS Starter course.

And it didn't disappoint me or it just never does, as I personally think. The teacher has nothing to complain about, she is just the best! I have been studying English for over 10 years until now and used to experience a great number of English teachers, but I would say that Mrs Ngan Hoa is the one I have the most impression on. She is always enthusiastic, smiling, considerate and professional. She pays attention to every small mistake of us, correcting it and explaining carefully untill she makes sure we all get it. On the other hand, there's one feature about her which scares me sometimes, it is her strictness and seriosity in work. Anyways, that's always a good and needy character in a teacher if she wants to control her class, understanding that thing so I still love it.

Thanks to the course, I get the opportunity to meet lovable new friends and accumulate a great deal of useful knowledge. Besides, I can pick up many fantastic tips and pieces of advice about taking the IELTS exam which I never thought about before. Having all those nice experiences here, I have no reasons to refuse to go on to the PRO class, and it would be a big pleasure to me if I can see all the familiar faces there. I am truely looking forward to it.

My IELTS Starter Class with 9 members

In conclusion, I want to say thank you all for being together for weeks and having made a good combination. I will try my best to be more progressive, soon achieve my 7.0-7.5 IELTS goal and I hope so will you. Wish you all the best.
